CCRC's (Continuing Care Retirement Communities)
CCRC, sometimes called Life Care Communities, is a retirement community modeled to accommodate a continuum of senior services. It provides a full range of housing/residential and healthcare services from independent living to assisted living and some skilled nursing. All levels of living are usually located on a campus like setting. There is separate housing for those who live independently, assisted living that offers more support and nursing homes for those needing skilled nursing care. Residents move from one housing choice to another as their needs chance and as your grow older. This is intended to provide a life time shelter. |
